    My first G... 22 yrs and counting

    DW-5900 Bought Feb 1992 at the Kmart in Seminole, FL for $69. Just rehabbed w. new resin, batt, and gasket, It lives again!

    I havent removed the module, wonder if that cloudiness around the glass perimeter cleans up?

    It's possible to do. I haven't done it on that particular model, but I have on DW-6600's and DW-8200's and a DW-6100. You can clear it with a Q-tip. Some glass cleaner on the Q-tip might be necessary. But you need to be careful if there are letters painted on the underside of the glass, because the glass cleaner (if you use a strong one or rub too hard) can remove the letters.
