    My first G-Shock - GWA1000-1A

I bought this watch as a weekend beater, and I really like it. Looking at the pictures I thought it was going to be huge, but the size is really nice.

Very light and comfortable to wear. Here's a wrist shot.

    what a beauty.
I am looking for the same watch or maybe beefed up version GWA1000FC.
Cannot get a decent deal from ebay though.
Mind if I ask where you got it and how much?

I buy most of my watches from Govberg Jewelers, so I grabbed it there.

The cheapest I've seen them is around $400 (Amazon and eBay).

I looked at the FC and understand the stealth appeal, but I actually like the red accents and white indices. Besides the newer strap and $100 premium is there anything else different about it?

I am presently wearing the same. As you wear it, you will appreciate it even more. A great watch.

Not to bad to start with G Shock ! It could had be worse...

I have the same one and it is my dress G. I painted the red ring in black.
