    Thumbs Up My first Zulu-strap!

Finally it's here and I love it! I'm pretty sure this will not be the last. Like Mike Hogan (I think it was him..) advised I got the 24 mm two ring type. The watch is pretty much fixed on the strap and won't slide off easily. Enough said, here are the pics:

It's actually very easy. The straps are fitted with spring bars such as this:

You can depress the ends to fit it between the lugs, after which the spring extends them again. That's all there is to it. You can either use a micro screwdriver (I do) or a dedicated spring bar tool:

There is an exhaustive tutorial here. Good luck!

    after seeing the photo

would a 24mm zulu "over powered" the DW5600E?

maybe a 22mm zulu would seems more proportioned?

i am planning on a 24mm zulu for my frogman though

I've got 2 Frogs and 3 5600s mounted on 24mm zulus and they all look well proportioned.
    Best regards,

Congratulations on your first Zulu ... It certainly looks like it belongs on your G-Shock.

Do you mind if I ask where you purcased your adapter and strap?

The only two places I've found said items are www.broadarrow.net & www.countycomm.com .

I was wondering if you dealt with either site or another.

    Thanks, Briscoe

Both are very reputable and ship quickly. Prices are the same for either supplier.

Thanks Mike for the input - It looks like I'll be placing my adapter order and
24 mm strap order here in a few minutes.

    That looks absolutely FANTASTIC Pete

Really suits that model and makes it look much tougher and bigger.

For all who want one, on EBay, search for "Zulu Straps". Many are listed.

    All the best - OZZIE
