    My GLX-5600 G-Lide>>

I visited the watch store today for my G-Shock fix, and walked out with this G-LIDE.

I was reading the poll which Sjors posted, and he had a pic of the red one, so getting a chance today to handle the watch, it felt solid, with a nicer finished caseback than the regular 5600's. Raydin's post and pic was a great help as well.

Wore it back to the office, very comfy, the tide-graphs and layout of the face is neat, and the shiny look made it a bit different from the other 5600's in the market.

My only issue is the keeper, which is from the regular series, non-shiny. It takes a bit of effort to get the strap into the keeper once its on the wrist.

Overall I really like this one! Thanks for reading!

*please excuse the quick pics, it was already evening when I took them.

    Congrats, Ultramanpat!

Nice G-Lide, I have that same exact version, the black one. How are you liking the mirror moon-tide graph?

Good score Pat! Not a big fan of G-Shocks with gloss finish, but the module is nice. Wear in good health

Thanks! The mirror graph is easy and fun to read, although I do not use it, itadds to the cool factor.

Thanks GameBoy! At first I was hesitant about the gloss, but its not that drama, once its on the wrist.

I'm glad to start the G-Shock craze again after a couple of months of quiet contemplation..lol
