My GShock got a moist inside...

hello, goodday... I have mg Casio G Shock Gravitymaster GRB100, which I have bought from true Casio retailer. I have it for 2 months, till when I was driving, it was directly facing the sunlight, and when I have check the time, it has moist on it. It happened for almost 2 times, it has moist when get under the sun. I didn't even used it for swimming nor while taking bath, it only got wet when I wash my face, but not totally just a little splash. what do you think? should I take it back on the store where I bought it? thanks for your opinions.

Seems like I remember someone on here saying Casio sees intermittent moisture on the inside as normal. Do whatever makes you feel the best - it's your money. I've never had a watch do that, so I don't see it as normal. If I had the option to return it and get another, I probably would. Just my opinion...

None of my G’s do it and I get showered in them. Take it back.

normally Gs make -me- feel moist inside

seriously tho, a little fogging is normal if the watch is cold and you put it somewhere warm, like in the sun. the manual usually makes reference to this specifically.
if youre worried and its fogging excessively, go somewhere that has air con (dry air), open the back and leave it for 15-30min and let the moisture evaporate, replace the back then youll be good to go. nothing to it

Last time when my wife said she's got a moist inside, we've got a baby!

Jokes aside, check out my post in the thread below about the condensation issue.

In the case of G-shocks, we’re going to have a Baby-G.

To answer the op, return the watch! Not worth the stress/hassle to keep it. Especially for such a nice model.

note the clear distinction between "fogging" and "moisture"

sending it back just wastes your time and watch wearing time, theres no certainty that the next one you get wont have the same "problem".

Re: My GShock got a moist inside...

My G-Shocks get moist inside when they get taken from one extreme temperature to another, like from sauna to ice swimming. I think that just indicates they are excited from being treated badly, as all G-Shocks are.
