My journey on trimming my 2 days old G7900 (3cm)

I bought the G-rescue G-7900 2 days ago. It was cool and great but due to my pathetic thin wrist, about 3.5 cm of the tip of the strap was potruding out and it irritates me. By luck, i came across this thread which gave me the courage to trim my watch!(This Link)

( i use the first hole when im wearing the watch. The picture is using the second last hole)

i cut off the extra portion using a pen knife and scissor . After that i tried to file the jagged part with a finger nail file which didnt turn out very nice.

So i grab a small piece of sand paper from my father's tool box, wet it and started sanding the end of the watch which i cut. It didnt turn out as nice as i expected but yea i could live with it.

    The end product:
    front of the tip
    back of the tip
    a clearer picture
    the whole watch after trimming
    me wearing it
( before i trim it, the extra portion can be seen
from the portion i drew a red line)

Pardon my poor english and poor picture quality.
Special thanks to the thread owner of (This link) which inspire me to trim my strap :thanks

A good way to get the rough ends finished smooth is to hold the strap end between your fingers and rub the rough edge along jeans while rolling back and forth. It may sound silly, but the next time you're in front of the TV for a few hours, do this and the strap end will be smooth as a baby's bottom eventually.

    Great job Shinso

due my small wrists I have had to shorten the bands of my M5660 and the 7710 too.

It's much more comfortable now and looks much better.

It would be great if Casio would offer smaller bands as option
