My Master Blue does'nt seem to sleep.

Ive got a Master Blue Frogman and I have the seep "on", but every time I open the box to take it out it is on, I can immediately see the numbers through the plastic bag and it seems like it is not going to sleep. Can I do any thing about this or is there a fault with the watch.

    Thanks

the 200 frogs take longer to fall asleep than other models. It needs to be in the dark for 7 or 8 days straight to fall asleep, according to the manual

If I'm not mistaken, the sleep function on the 200 series Frogs is a little different than the sleep function on newer watches. My Frog does the same thing so I down loaded the instruction manual...says it will enter Sleep mode when it is in an area with little or no light for 7-8 days without any button operations being performed.

I know the sleep times on the frogs, but I take the Master Blue out of the box (after a period of longer than the time stated in the manual) or just open the box and it seems to be on where as others stay asleep until I hit them with some bright light.

What charge level does the battery have right now?

that is strange then. might be a faulty module, or maybe it just needs more time than the others for some reason.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, either that or it is just extremely sensitive to light as my others need a good burst to come on.

I might see about getting some night vision goggles, leave the watch for a month and then open the box in a completely dark room with my new goggles on and see if its asleep or still on, than ill know for sure.

    Thanks any way.
