My Mud and a huge thanks

First off.....a big thanks to y'all. Great forum....great site....great help for newbies !

I bought my first G-shock right before Uncle Sam threw me a welcome party (aka Basic). It was my best friend thru sand, surf and sweat. It was loyal to me for eight years and as I wind down my service, the EL finally is gone - probably the battery. She deserves a place of honor and will of course get spiffed up at by what seems to be the good folks at Casio Sales & Service.

In the meantime...I figured it was time for a new one. My G was always my faithful - Can Do.

After reading all the great posts here I really came to further appreciate the G line. Enter my brand spankin new Muddy ! Ain't she a beauty - and man does that fit nice. Most comfortable watch I've had !

So you gotta a new member. Course we all still have a soft spot for shiny, expensive watches - but man do I love putting on a G shock (new or old) and doing whatever I gotta do without a single care in the world.

Now...enough o that soft stuff - someone gimme a drink o that Kool aid !

    Thanks !

(( Jeff - You lead a great crew over in Suunto-land ! Read a ton there too - I was about 1/2 inch from ordering a Suunto - in fact had an Observer in the ol' shopping basket but one at a time. Otherwise it would be a cold night in the dog house. ))

    Welcome Lucky.

I don't have a Mudman yet but if do get one it would be the one you have. Very nice watch.

I hear you my brother... One must be stealthy! :)

Oh wow, the Observer is an AWESOME watch.. If you live near Ga, come on over and you can borrow mine for a while! :)

Great watch... Perhaps the toughest of the Suunto line!

Nice to have you posting now!

Welcome! I don't like the style of the atomic mudman but i can't deny that it is a good watch...

If you buy the standard g-9000 you will get mad about mudman!
