My new Casio put my other watches to shame

I have a small collection of High accuracy watches

    Pulsar PSR 10 around $150
    Seiko Dolce around $500
    Seiko GMT around $250
and my pride and glory is a Longines VHP Conquest around $1500 ,

However last night i bought a simple Casio Atomic , and the watch synchronize perfectly every night with the signal and is always given a perfect time , also the quality is top notch for a what i paid $24 brand new.
I am spechels about this watch compares to my others watches.

The only problem is that the bezel is scratch just a bit , i contacted casio parts and they told me that they dont have it anymore , I was thinking about using this bezel from this casio diver , i think have the same dimension , any suggestions ?

    Welcome to the club!

There IS something hugely satisfying about an affordable timepiece that's always accurate to within a half-second of the atomic clock (as long as it receives the nightly radio signal.)

I have no idea if those bezels are interchangeable, but a lot of G-Shock bezels are NOT interchangeable -- in addition to the diameter(s) you might also have to take into account their height or depth.

Lots of modders around here, but at a guess, I'd say that at least 90% of the Casio mods in this sub-forum are done to G-Shocks....

...and since mineral crystal is more shatter resistant than sapphire, there aren't very many sapphire crystals being installed around here.

(Also, since Casio doesn't offer sapphire crystals for 99% of their G-Shocks, even if someone wanted to install one they'd probably have engage in some creative fabrication to get one to the exact shape.)

All of which is not to say that it CAN'T be done, but you might have to search for a while to find out how or who can do it for you!

Edit: you might want to try starting a new thread with either "non-G-Shock Casio" or "WVQ142DA" AND "sapphire" in the title since that's a little more specific to the question.

Welcome and congratulations on your new watch, my first Casio was a Waveceptor WV200 and what got me interested in G-Shocks.

Is returning it for one that isn't scratched an option?
