Thumbs Up My new favorite G-shock

My new favorite G-shock is actually an old model, from 1997:

The Fisherman, predecessor to the Gulfman, is familiar to some of you on here. I just got a New In Box 1997 Men In Black version. I love everything about this watch--the size, the shape, the display... The sunrise/sunset feature is nice. I don't think I will use the temperature feature. The only thing that was a little disappointing was finding out that the tide graph is not as accurate as the one on my Gulfman. The graph is more detailed, but it lags a little behind my other tide watches and when compared with tide charts it seems off by a couple hours (I do have it calibrated correctly to my city, so I'm not sure why this is).

But overall, I am very happy with this watch. I love the buckle, which really helps to keep the strap in place, and the band, which has a nice texture. Because the watch was sitting in storage for over a decade, the band was pretty stiff. I boiled it for 10 minutes and it softened right up.
