Gift My new G"s and Pro-Trek

After a long day working on the lab, I arrived home late (strange toothpaste complexometric experiment and a damn gas chromatograph won't work rightO|O|O|).

Came home and found a lot of papers of packages not delivered because nobody was home and an other package (probably sent by a different package service) with a nice load of G's. Since Eva is now cutting the Spinach Pie now for dinner and , I just drop the picture here. Looks like I'm not the only lucky one I just saw

    Back to dinner,

    Sjors

    Hi Sjors,

6 in one delivery, wow ! The 3rd one from the left, is that a G-2900 on a double nylon band? I got one a couple of years ago but returned it because the time wasn't displayed when in stopwatch mode. Kind of regret returning it now O| . Nice batch of watches though .

I may as well give up now - I'll never get that many in total, let alone in one delivery!!

    Hi G-Master,

Well, most of them are used (which I knew). The ProTrek looks remarkably good! Besides the DW-003TL's (great model) I didn't had the others yet. BTW, do you considder the G-5500 a Master of G? The DW-5500 was called Mudman...

Here a view of the Spinach Pie and the Jelly Pudding desert.

    Hi Martin,

I didn't mean to take your fun out of collecting... Normally G's come in here in much less amounts than today. Of the three packages, I don't know what the third is actually. The other ones are probably a DVD (Hackers) and a red US Open Surfing (1994?) and a clear I.C.E.R.C. Eva will probably away tommorow afternoon, so I'm afraid I will know the content not before Thursday (the G-5500 is ready for get Airborne at the HATAKA post collection point).

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Hi Brian,

I had to take it out of the box to check the model number. Indeed it is the G-2900 with double Velcro watchband. It's quiet used (the little tag on the watchband is hardly readable), but still looks good enough for me. I never wore one before, but I believe I have a new one somewhere in my collection (I remember seeing one when those Dutch G-Masters came by last week).

Here a bonus pic of Bram (viva la food colorants!). I guess your daughter isn't on solid food yet

    Cheers,

Hello Sjors.. congrats on those 6 G's. I'm loving the last 2 G's on the right with the negative display.

    Hi Sjors,

No, not quite on solids yet, but she is getting more regular food now. Lorna LOVES mashed potatos with small pieces of meat mixed in with them. That is a great shot of Bram with the colored tongue :-D ! I can't wait till I can get some pictures of Lorna like that. Here a couple from when she turned 1 year old back in August.

And one of her in my favorite onesie "Daddy's Little Metal Head"

    Hi Sjors,
Nice box of G's! The two neg. displays on the right, are they stock? Do you mind saying where you got them from? I've been beating the bushes for ages looking for G's like those.
    Thanks!!
    John
