    My new YES Watch

After many years of wanting to get one, I've finally got my hands on a YES Watch. They had a big sale on just before Christmas, so I decided to go for it. I also blame zippofan for encouraging me. You should have seen how excited I was when the doorbell rang.

Here are a couple of pictures:

Good thing it has a digital readout as well. :)

I get the 1530ish part, but I'm lost with the rest.

Actually I saw it. Like a kid in a candy store Our trip to Machida was delayed by about 30 minutes (and you were so glad I needed a few minutes to finish a blog post, I guess).

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Perhaps this will help, Bruce.

Basically, the inner display shows daylight/night time (the boundaries of black and non-black LCD, sun up/down), the thin outer track on the LCD display is when the moon is in the sky (boundaries represent moon up/down).

Yes, I have you to thank for me being able to pick up the watch! I would have had to wait a whole day otherwise.

Fantastic watch. The sunset and sunrise feature is great. Is it hard to callibrate it?

Not too difficult at all. As simple as calibrating a G-Shock, although the button layout is different from Gs in general, so it takes a little getting used to.
