My Project DW5600E (now w/ EG bezel) is completed.

So I posted before about my $5 g-shock dw5600e from goodwill (that subsequently cost me about $32~ more meh...)

when I got this it had a disintegrating bezel .. pacparts had no bezel for the E but they did have the EG bezel which I decided would be FINE.. so i bought that and a new gasket.. watch battery was also dead I replaced the battery and the origional strap not only didn't match the finish of the new bezel (DOH! matte on the new bezel, shinny plastic on the old band)but was also kinda past it... so I bought this yellow black band on amazon for $8 and I order $12 bullbars while i was at it because i think they look pretty neat.

so yeah here it is as a finished project ...I'm quite pleased (and I thank everyone that gave input on my previous thread again... CHEERS )

Excellent job on your 5600. Looks really nice on your wrist. Great choice on the strap. You really brought that watch back to life and got a great deal on it too.

Nice revival. Do you find the yellow strap to be stiff, I have one and it's uncomfortable. How would you soften it up?

umm... it is a little stiff... honestly my wrists are big enough it doesn't matter much.. I have it on the 2nd hole from the end to get the thing on and so...my wrist just kind forces the band to comply with my wrists (if i'm explaining it correctly) but it was actually quite comfortable for me wearing it around town today.
