My small collection as of today

So I am going to wait buying G's for a while since I have acquired all that I wanted for now. I am now slowly going to plan what I want to get in the second round.

Anyway, my collection is very small, but I wanted to share it. Nothing impressive, but its my proud collection and I am trying to use all of them (except the GA100 because I am afraid the white color will turn into dirty white) by taking turns. But mostly for work days, I will be wearing my newest acquisition... the Mudman!

    I admit, I am becoming a G-coholic.

I dont think the white GA-100 will yellow too much. That used to be the case with the older G Shock models, but I believe Casio found a way to overcome this.

    Maybe someone else can confirm?

I didn't know that about the recent white color bands. I am still scared that it will discolor though.

Anyway, while taking this picture, I came up with one questions and I am sure it has been discussed here before. I try to use the tough solar watches often so they keep their charge, but how do all of you who have number of watches keep your solar battery charged? Is it bad for the solar cell to lose its charge by not using the watch? What do you guys do with your other solar battery watches that you don't use? I am just concerned if there is any negative affect on the watch by letting it drain the charge. Thanks for nay help!

Argggg i envy your gxw!! And if you leave them in sunlight like through a window or something they get chaged, you can even just leave it under a lamp.

gxw is a nice watch indeed! I love it. I can do that time to time to charge it, but will it hurt if I let it completely drain for some reason (like I forgot about it?)?

Hi tungsten24, I have 3 other solar powered Gs and they do just fine getting recharged at home on my counter. I wear my GW-5000 most often, but my second fave the GW-M5600R gets worn twice a week... anyway all 3 show a high charge continuously.

Your collection is ace, my recommendation is now look at a vintage 5600C or save up and buy the GW-5000, you won't be disappointed.

    All the best
    Neil
