    My ultra-stealthy GWM5600BC

Hello all - first post here. I've had a notion for a while to take the stealthiness of my 5600BC to the next level (below).

I like the look, but suspect it'll bugger the solar recharging and have to come off.
Thinking about trying 'one way' privacy film next, in the hope that'll let some light through to the solar cells.
    We'll see...

I have to say, it's a good start but a bit too "DIY"-looking for me.

    Welcome to the forum.

Man, you can't get much stealthier than that!

    Welcome to the forum.

I like the blackout idea, but I don't think it's a very practical on a solar model. It definitely needs some light to charge the battery. It's always fun to experiment though.

    Welcome!

Interesting mod there, can you give more details on how you did it? Thanks!

I agree. BTW, is the left edge of the "2" cut off from the mod you did, or is that just the angle of the camera?

I don't particularly like the look, but what jumps out at me from the picture is that this really makes apparent how little of the surface area of the watch face is devoted to the actual display.

I love my GW-M5600, but I realize it's actually a surprisingly small display window when you see it presented like this; without all the wording, decorations, and solar panels to distract one's eye.

    Anyone else have that reaction?

No, but only because I've always thought that.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
