I am with you Piowa. I love wagons. But my wife would rather rip my arm off and beat me with it than drive a wagon or a Mini-van. She just doesn't get it, the utility, the comfort.

    I drive a hatchback, a Honda Jazz.
It's no Volvo, but it gets the job done.

Nice to see you still have those old pictures.
You put those cars in good use.

    Thanks for sharing.

Nice, V70 My father had S60 in same silver color, D5 engine, sold it few years ago, he collected too many kilometers on it, 290.000 I think.

Which engine did you get, Piowa? Car looks brand new. One of most comfortable cars for sure, seats and suspension are just made for long journeys.

I have perfect photo to post here:

Back in the 80's, my uncle had a Volvo with a hand crank sunroof. The crank's on the ceiling just ahead of the sunroof. It looked pretty funny, and as you can see very memorable to me.

It is D5 (163 KM) engine. The car is ten years old (2005), but it has only 62k km on the clock. In Volvo terms you can say it is nearly brand new. 8-)

Ooo, Volvos - the car equivalent of the King... I had a few 740s, with various engines (B200E, B230E, B230F and the rare 16v DOHC B234F). Discerning choice, sir.
