I do engineering field work quite frequently, usually in refineries. I have rotated through a couple:

And my trusty DW5600E. I use the Mudman the most, that watch has seen quite a bit of work.

Re: My Work Watch. Do you use a specific Watch for Work?

Before I discovered this forum, I used my only G-Shock (a DW-5600E) as a "work watch."

These days I pick and choose among my most inexpensive and easily replaceable Casio watches when I know I might be doing something dangerous to my watch, like yardwork: one of my DW-5600E's, my DW-290, or my "pre-dinged" MDV-102.

Working at big container vessels and love to use GLX-150 or Gulfman. Both have moon phases and tides so from time to time it can be really helpful.

Just my trusty GD350. The vibrate comes in handy when a machine is running or I have earplugs on. Otherwise I'd miss the alarm or timer without doubt.

I rotate through all my G's for work. That's why I started wearing g-shocks to begin with. I work in an industrial environment that's tough on wristwatches.

At it pretty much on daily basis since 1999, with nothing more than the rare battery and band changes, WS300 has all but earned its "Best Watch" status in my stable. Out of the way and always there, through thick and thin, to hell and back. This is the stuff that Casio's reputation was built on.

^Thanks, bud! It really is. Nothing short of iconic in my mind.
