    Re: Names

Some of mine I associate with certain movies or TV shows, but I think the only one I've ever nicknamed is the olive-drab G-8000, I called it "Borg" (as the "friendly" bio-mechanical species from Star Trek), lol

    Re: Names

I'm terrible at remembering names in general so no. Maybe if I had just a few watches I could manage. Sometimes I even forget the model numbers and have to look on the caseback to remind myself.

Uhhhhhh, maybe. (well, except for Steelerswit apparently - but not sure of his age)

I have no individual names for my watches. Although, I'm sure you've seen at least some of the names in the forum that have collectively been 'assigned' to some of the Gs...

GXW-56 --- The King (the real King )
GPW-1000 --- The BEAST (and afaik, this name still sticks as it is the largest G that I know of)
GW-9400BJ-1JF --- no consensus but it's been called The Panther, The Batman, or The Dark Knight -- for its glossy black resin
G-8900SC-6 --- The Devastator (a green strap, purple bezel, pink-dialed model that got its name, I can only assume - because if you look at it too long it will "devastate" your vision!!)
*** btw I have this one, it's pretty cool. The sparkly purple bezel reminds me of a bike I had as a kid. I've always liked that color. As for the overall color scheme -- it isn't as bad as it sounds.

There may be other named Gs, but I can't think of them offhand...
