Need help finding a GShock for my daughter

So here's the deal. My daughter who is 24 and a petite woman is leaving in January for an 11 month trip to do missionary work around the world. Dad is scared to death, but proud of her just the same.

She asked me for a watch recommendation that would survive the trip, I am thinking any GShock. But I have no idea what is going to work on her small wrist. I am thinking Baby G.

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

Yes, a Baby G would be splendid for her.

Are you looking for analog, digital, or a combination of both? Regular battery or solar-powered? Would you like it in atomic (to keep perfect time anytime, depending on her location in the world)? Does she prefer basic colors or is she more adventurous when it comes to colorways?

Sucks to be without a G.

A good regular G that wears small is the GW-M850, the white one in this photo, also is available in black, and is solar charged.

Another size comparison shot of the M850, big numbers, small case. Central light button is easy to find.

I'm loving the new BAs but it might just not be as good as the digital ones in terms of practicality. Even a regular black 5600 would be pretty good I think.

Something about the budget could be nice to know. Would make it easier to suggest something. And analog with hands or digi?

    If not a baby G, then a DW-5600E.

Thanks for all the great ideas. You have to remember this is my daughter, she changes her mind every 5 minutes : )

As always, price is not an issue for her..........because Dad is paying for it LOL

If she is petite then I don't think any regular G will fit her properly. My girlfriend is about 100 lbs and 5'2" and my DW5600E is too big for her. The watch head could work, it's the strap that causes fit problems.

    go for a Baby-G..

you can have a look at all the monthly releases here:

New Products - Watches - CASIO

click on the watch you like to see the features. something with world time would be nice.

2 of the most popular G-Shock's have been released for women, in women sizes.

The DW6900 has become the BG6901/02

The GA110 has become the BA110

Some colour options (there are even more, just posting a few)
