Need help to get a baby g for my 5 year d daughter

    Hi guys and gals ...

My 5 year old daughter has been fascinated with my G7900 ever since I bought it a few months ago. Her favorite is to press the "G" button for the light and to play with the stopwatch.
She has requested that I buy her a watch and her requirements are as follows:

    1. It must have a "G" button ( she calls my g shock the g button watch)
    2. It must be in her favourite colour which is green

Considering that she is only 5, I reckon that a baby g will suit her better.
However, when I was at the shop recently I can't seem to locate a baby g that is green in colour and has the "G" button.
    Would appreciate some suggestions.
    Thanks in advance.

BG1006SA-3 is in the current catalogue:

You can view the manual here, which confirms that the G-button is indeed the light
The Search function on vBulletin forums isn't very smart. If you want to search for a complete string in the G-Shock forum, or for posts which include multiple words, use Google, and enter site:forums.watchuseek.com/f17 into the search box. Then use normal google syntax after that to enter your search.

Looks like Maine found a very nice Baby-G

I like it (well, for a girl that is).

I like that one too (for a 5-year-old girl).

It's got face protectors and it just looks like a cool watch for a kid. And there's probably other color variations if she cares about that.

Many thanks for the prompt reply and I also received your PM.... very nice of you to PM me ....
I have brought her to see this watch at a shop but she keep insisting that the G button is not green... and I am trying to explore other options to see if there is a green baby g with green g button or at least the "G" is green....
Nevertheless, if this is the closest I can get in accordance to her preference I may have to convince her that this is it....;)

eh... I didn't try to get her into the watch disease... she was simply fascinated by my G-7900 and its G button and have been asking me to get her a watch...
The Power of G Shock and Baby G can never be under estimated.

Well, a large part of the WIS education is learning that even the best watch isn't perfect. There might always be something better next year!

I wonder if these might appeal? Both have a green G in their different ways.
