new addition to my g shock collection

I already have a GW 5000 but I thought that it would be good to have another square one with red line because GW 5000 is too plain-jane for me..lol
Also thought about purchasing the 30th anniversary version but.. i chose to have a more practical one.. So I ordered it from Amazon and received it today.

As a brief comparison review between 5000 & m5610, I can definitely feel that GW 5000 has a softer band and higher quality parts on the case. But m5610 is much more affordable and versatile.. and maybe at least it is not boring like 5000 ( no offense to to the other 5000 users) so I am fine with my purchase and happy. Perhaps my next target for a square one could be the new bluetooth model but.. wait and see how the review goes.. It seems cool but maybe not useful like it is advertising..

    nice watch!
i have the same model and wear it a lot. of all my casios, this little square gets the most compliments from non-watch people. everyone comments on its retro look. i love telling them that it calibrates itself with the atomic clock every night, and it uses office light to charge its battery.

it's funny but it is almost the same conversation every time.

I have the same model GWM5610-1 and I love mine because it looks exactly like my old DW5000C-1A that I used to own that I purchased brand new back in 1983 for $59.99.

My GWM5610-1 has a hard time synching. Does yours synch easily every night?

Hi. my watches don't usually get the signal everyday because of this damn location of my house...before I moved in this house, my watches received the signal every night from 12:04~12:06am... but now it's like... BS. I notice that GW 5000 gets the signal more frequently than GWF frogmans for sure. I received the m5610 yesterday and I will see if m5610 would do the same like 5000. Sorry, I can't answer your question for now...
