looks pretty good
looks pretty good
more on the all black GS1000
and then the blue dial GS1000
http://watch-tanaka3.sub.jp/casio/GS-1000J-2AJF/ (not bad )
if casio made this in black ion plating, i may get this instead because of timing bezel and the full titanium bracelet
and some more new Oceanus is just around the corner

I like this model, but the question of the day is; "Have they added any EL for it?" Maybe it's time to do what some members have suggested and place some tritium (or equivalent) on these models?
Thanks for the links
i don't think casio added EL to it. its practically the same as the regular version besides the color
i haven't checked but my guess is that they should have the same module number
i much prefer SuperLuminova as lume material (non-radioactive while tritium is), but man, casio should do something about it
there are watch makers that will relume the hands and dial with SL for about $100
but that's another $100 out of the pocket :-X
That is disappointing, considering that I'm still wishing for casio to make their EL triggered with all buttons (for night time usuage). As I said in another post, if I were a collector, I might overlook this. Not acceptable for a single watch purchase however, no matter how handsome the watch is.Originally Posted by stockae92
As it stands, no matter how good this model looks, I'd rather have a
or the gw1500
awesome looking model, but too expensive for my tastesOriginally Posted by stockae92
I don't know...I really miss the RED accents on this version as compares to previous model.
And by the way, did you notice the new WWII Japanese pilots watch repro on the site:
Am I the only one that finds it REALLY ironic that it is made in China? I need not elaborate on that point, eh?
