    A new bargain buy

    Morning all!!

I decided while at work this morning to hunt for a treat for myself

My last great priced G came from watchshop.com here in the UK, (GA-2000E-4ER), so I headed back there to sniff around.

I'm not in the market for a premium or even mid range watch, so just trawled through their whole G-Shock list filtered to Low-High!

I've seen these fairly recently online, and also in a thread here on f17. They've sounded interesting and look good too. I've always appreciated the round, fairly bulky G's and already have a GA-700SE and GA-135, (110 35th Anniversary).

Also, as I luckily found out by logging in to my account on watchshop, they run a bonus points scheme where your points, (= money off), from your last purchase are automatically added to your next one!

This site always seem to have a 20% code, and usually have a sale on too.

So including the sale price, the code and my points money off, I got this for just over £62!

I suppose I'll have to actually do some steps now!

I think these are very good watches a lot of functionality.

You got a great deal there. I got the green one with a positive display as these are working watches and I preferred the grater clarity of the positive display. They are nearly all negative display though.

Is that the grey/metallic green one that you have?

It looked a little OTT for my taste if so.

Got into an almost similar situation... delivered today for $47 brand new! ga-100gbx-1a4 (bonus: it came with a tin too, was expecting only the generic cardboard box)

I forgot how featherlight the ga-100 was... aaaand I have to use the flash in order to capture whats displayed on the negative+bronze tint lcd (probably the reason why it’s bargain priced)

That’s a great idea! I would want that more than any of the other BT integrations they’ve done.

I snagged a DW-5600HR this week for a few bucks cheaper than the usual price. Paid $60, it came with a tag and a tin, but no cardboard box or manual.

I like how the red layer in the strap lines up with the red case under the black bezel.

    Re: A new bargain buy

Congratulations. They seem to have some very keen prices at times and I bought a G from them some months ago.
