new discovery in the G shock storage box

I was looking through one of my watch trays that is chock full of the latest and greatest G-Shocks and way, way, way in the back and long forgotten was a new virgin, never worn G-2500-3v(olive drab)in NOS cond, screen blank and batt flatlined.now many might think I am refering to the GW-2500 solar aviator, but this is the old school G-2500 2001 G- shock, killer looks, many back in the day thought this gem to small, plus lack of CDT timer did not help its cause.however that being said, I have always thought it was cosmetically one of the best looking and most comfortable G's around, nice soft resin band, catchy amber display, military look
took her to my watch guy,and after a new CR1616 power cell install, gasket checkup and pressure test she is finally going to get her day in the sun after 7 years in oblivion.
gotta a feeling she has a lot of well deserved wrist time coming her way.

We need PICS!!! I also think the G-2500 is very good looking - btw: I think the new Mudman G(W)-9300 was inspired by the design. And I just love olive green Casios. Congrats on finding it!

I don't have mine anymore, but it is indeed a characterful classic. The target date counter made up for the lack of a countdown timer.

I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
