    Confused New DW6700 Skyforce...need manual!!!

    Hello everyone,

Just picked up a new DW6700, perfect shape, but I didnt get a manual with it. I checked casio's site and they have a manual for module #1230, but no manual for 1231, which is the modeule in my Skyforce....I'm trying to change the temp reading to Farenheit, and I tried following the directions for the 1230 module, but it doesnt work the same....anyone know where I can download a 1231 module user's manual???

    the 1231 doesn't do fahrenheit.

they have slighty different dials. here's a 1230 from sjors site - notice your's doesn't look like this:

Yes, the 1231 seems to be a Japanese domestic release in metric only.

    Hello pdxgti8v,

It's good possible you picked up a Japanese model. Those do not switch to ft, Inch Hg and ºF.

If you can't find the manual (I believe I have looked for a DW-6700), you can also look at the 1663 manual of the Riseman. Although the watches look very different maybe, the button control and funtions are exactly the same (except for the EL backlight functions of course).

    Cheers,

In time keeping mode hold down the upper left button until the seconds starts to flash, then push the upper right button and switch between the 12/24 hour format. After you are done press upper left again to return to time keeping mode. Manual can be found here:
