Wink A new G-7700 owner. G-Shock bargain in the Netherlands.

I have been looking at the G-7700 for a longer time, but everything more interesting (rarer, better bargains, etc) G's came by. Last week I read a brochure of a Dutch department store. They offered 25% discount on all watches. Well, the only interesting brand they carry is Casio (the rest are more Casio wanabees), and the prices of most Gs are with €80.- relative cheap (retail price of most basic Gs here is €99.95). Only the G-9100 costs €99.95. With a discount of 25%, most Gs costs €60 (almost $80.-). This might sound too cheap for people outside Europe, this is a price you hardly will find in the Netherlands.

Well, taking pics is pretty hard now with one arm and poor light, but here are my pics:

I should study the manual (I got an AWG-590 manual) on-line soon, but I like the information displayed on this G pretty much. Even the weeknumber is shown!

For the few Dutch members her, have a look at the KIJKSHOP. They have some AWG models as the black DW-6900 with the bluish display-plate.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

What? I'm shocked! Sjors got a new G, and it is ..... Black ?? What is up with that? Where is the color? The Red? Yellow? Blue?

Congratulations on the new one Sjors. How close to 400G's are you now?

Congrats Sjors on that one - I must say I love my G-7710C. Might even be the best G I bought this year - and I bought a lot. Functionality and user-friendliness are top notch - u won't need the manual very often (maybe except for the STW and REC mode). I love the big and easy to press buttons and the design and comfort of it - I like it so much that after buying the G-7710C-2ER I also ordered the G-7700 - the one you got with the normal display . So far I never bought two Gs with the same module (except for my GT-001 that has the same module as the DW-6900 except for the display-layout) but the G-77XX line is really great - have fun with it.

    Greetings, Sedi

Very Nice, Sjors. That Black with the gold background and black digits really are classy. The blue Day / Wk# window is a nice touch. I like it.
    Happy Holidays....Enjoy
