New G-Shock ad new to the forum

I'm new to the forum and I was shopping for a G-Shock. I was thinking of these 2

    http://watchshock.com/archive/Casio/...man/GW-9010-1/
    And
    http://www.gmtplusnine.com/2007/06/1...t-seas-series/

In the end I think I should probably go with the GW9100-1. I was wondering if you guys had any thought on this watch and where would be the best place to buy this watch. I know they have it on amazon but only on the amazon.com and not .ca. If there's an other G-Shock that would be better for around that price please let me know.

    Thanks

Your links don't quite work, but the GW-9100 is a superb watch. They feel very well made, they're handsome and they feel a little more 'grown up' than some models.

    Welcome to the forum!
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I've recently been looking for a g-shock for myself. I'd go with 9100 (but the non-atomic version). Reason being: it offers tide and moon phase display (G9100 Gulfman). Otherwise, I'd go for 9010 as I like this design and module better.

    Hope that helps.

    Welcome to the forum.

I like the GW-9100 Gulfman better myself. I've never been a fan of the way the regular GW-9010 Mudman looks. But that's just me. The timer features are something that sets that model apart though.

Gulfman. Actually, the atomic Gulfman will probably be my next G. I only have the non-atomic as of now, and I like it a lot.

if i were you, i would prefer Mudman because of this:

    - it does not have pointless circle in the upper right side of the screen.
    - it gives more information on the main screen
    - backlight button is on the front. while in Gulfman it is on the side.
    - overall it looks better
    - dirt resistance

    Another words, pick Mudman.

    ... :)

GW-9100 is a better looking watch IMHO.

    Welcome to the forum!

You didn't give your geographical location so we can't really help you out there (Canada?).

I've got this one myself, and think it's a great watch. One of the first watches I bought.
