Yesterday my new GW-M5600 arrived. I didn't think that I would buy another G-Shock that fast, but I really wanted something that looks like the original G-Shock. So now I have 3 Gs. I think my next should be an atomic Frogman when that would be available (hopefully next year).
On my last MC-trip this season (it's getting cold now in Norway), I found out that I should use my old DW-6700 as a thermometer and strap it on the handlebar. That worked very well, and I got good readings through my whole trip. On the DW-6700 you can see the temperature and the altitude at the same time as long as you want and also watch the altitude graph (which is very useful in Norway). I also have a GPS with altitude measurements, but it doesn't have a thermometer. The new Riseman can not do the same since it only shows the temperature for 3 minutes before entering timekeeping mode, and you can't see the altitude and temperature together. Sometimes the old G-Shocks can be better than new ones.
