    New G-shocker

    Hi all!

First of all let me thank all of you making this forum extremely useful for people like me thinking of purchasing the "first" G. Have gathered loads of info leading up to my first (and second, read below) G purchase.

Anyway, got my Mudman G9000MS yesterday and so far I'm liking it.

I am used to much heavier watches (Aqualand and Speedmaster Pro) so the weight was something that I first noticed. This helps making it extremely comfortable to wear. As many have reported the negative display is hard to read, however as long as one is prepared for this it is still acceptable. And if it becomes to dark, well then there's the cool back-light. Must add though that in "normal" light conditions there is no problem at all to read the display. And in the dark the watch really goes stealth, almost as if there is a black solid face to the watch.

Shortly after unpacking my wife strapped it to her wrist and liked it too, so now there's a stormtrooper en-route too

Now my 5 year old son is asking when he can have one.......

    Cheers

Yeah, congrats! The awesome stealthiness (not to mention cool factor) more than makes up for the slight lack of legibility.

And congrats on the stormie as well (I should be getting that either this weekend or next month, fingers crossed!)

    What's next eh?
