New to G-Shock's - Input please

Please give me your thoughts on this model: GWM850-1. I did a search and it looks like this may be a relatively new model. It looks like it has quite a lot of features. I know most recomendations are for the Mudman and the Riseman, but they really don't call out me at this point.

It shares the same module/functions as the latest Mudman GW-9010. It's pretty stylish, however I can't comment on the functions, though, as I do not own one. Maybe owners of GW-9010 Mudman can provide an insight into the functions?

    Cheers,

Really, it all hinges on whether you like the watch itself, esp. if you aren't interested in the exact functions.

This is a good-looking, easy to read watch. It will take all kinds of abuse. It should never need a new battery and it will keep excellent time [assuming you're in range of the atomic clock transmitter in Colorado]. If you need more from a watch perhaps you should keep looking...but if not, spring for this one. All G-Shocks are great values...
    Keep List:

    G-Shock MTG910DA-1
    Citizen EcoZilla diver
Hamilton Khaki Officer 44mm Unitas w/custom hands and lume
    Volmax Aviator 45mm handwinder
    Laco 42mm B-Type Flieger

    Wish List:

    Glycine Eugene Meylan
    Hamilton Jazzmaster PR
    Meistersinger Singlehand
A +40mm Seiko Alpinist, if Seiko ever decides to make one...

Thanks for the input everyone. I got the GWM850-1 on Monday and I really like it a lot. The features are excellent and the watch has everything that I need at a glance without having to push any buttons.

It has automatically synchronized in Northern Virginia every night with no problem, but I have not been able to make it manually synchronize yet. I chose this model not only for the features, but because it is lower profile than most of the other G-Shocks, and because it's not white (sorry mansrow). I just don't need a watch that chunkier than this one, I know most of you all prefer the chunky ones. The 24 hour count down timer was also a nice selling point.

Today I ordered a GWM5600-1 for all the same reasons. I cant wait till it gets here. Thanks again everyone.

chuncky is not a requirement for me but I do like crystal protection. I like my dw 5600b super stealth still have it on been wearing it all day. the concern I have with the 5600 is they dont have a lot of crystal protection. mine came from a wus member and has the extra metal bar protection dont know why casio does not sell these anymore
