New Glorious Gold Photos on Watch-Tanaka

Still haven't seen any WUS member's pics of the GWM5625, but I just found some new pics on the great watch-tanaka.com site:

    Hi SML,

As a proud owner of the GW-225E, I can imagine how this GW-M562E might look like in real. Too bad I can't afford to buy the complete series. Maybe I will go for the DW-6925E although it comes close to my Precious Heart model.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Welcome to the forum. I think I'm right in saying that with the GG, as with the other 25th anniversary watches, your type of box would depend on where in the world you got the watch from. In Japan you get the rather nice black box with the metal clasp on the front. For pretty much the rest of the world you get a metal tin. If you got the watch at a bargain basement price, then you may not have gotten a nice box, or that the sales person neglected to give you the box or it got thrown away, a la Macy's.

I'm sure some of our other helpful members will post pictures of the different styles of boxes. The topic has been discussed before and I'm sure there were some pictures in that thread.

Wow ... I never ended up buying & trying one of these watches :(

At one point, they were selling for US$99 on eBay and I could have bought one when the Aussie dollar exchange rate was so high it would have only cost AUD$110.

Alas now it would end up at over AUD$200 :(
