was out at thye shops today and decided to make a little de-tour to a jewellery shop which is also a Casio G-Shock authorised dealer.
i have been thinking about replacing my gym/training watch lately - it is getting old and its lacking the seconds function on the main screen.
so i was browsing their Casio collection and spotted this G-Shock. it looked like a decent sized watch for the gym and looked pretty copol with its analogy and digital time functions, and most importantly it has the digital second function on the main screen.
i tried on and fell in love with it. it sites right on my wrist and it is very light and the half resin & half fabric strap is very comfy too. i just had to buy it.
here comes the best part - while i was happy to pay upto £150 for a new gym/training watch, this one had a RRP of £69.99. upon scanning the bar code at the cashier, the sale assistant told me that they have a promotion going on at the moment, so this G-Shock is now only £34.99 - what a bargin:lol: (on top of that, it has a WR rating of 200m :dummy:)
anyway, wore it to the gym this evening and gave it a "work out", it had my thumbs up and very pleased with the surprise find. here are some more pix.
apparently this has 29 cities time display - i have only setup Sydney time for now.
it has a Day function as well (toggle between Date and Day displays)
the backlite display
this is my first G-Shock and i can see myself getting another one in the future
