New MT-G, and question about alarm

I like it. I have never had one of the higher end G-Shocks before. It is cool.

I have a question about the alarm. It won't sound. I think I have been careful to set it properly, but when the appointed time comes around it doesn't make any noise. Move it to Alarm - set small dial (paying attention to the AM/PM) - alarm turned on. I see that the watch has to be relatively well charged, and the only thing I can think of is that the battery is currently at about 3/4 charge.

    What gives?

Have you set it in the gshock app? Also the alarm isn't loud ...I was born with a hearing impairment and even with my hearing aids I can faintly hear it. Also make sure it's set to a.m. or p.m. accordingly to the time of day...

Setting the alarm is not enough, you must also enable the alarm!

Push the left button three times to be in the alarm mode.
Now the seconds hand points at Y(es) or N(o). With the lower right button you enable or disable the alarm.

Have fun with this great watch!

You are right, it is too quiet and too high for my ears under most conditions. But I can hear it when it is close to my ear or the room is very quiet.
