Congrats on your purchase, I have one also and think it is a fine watch and really a good value.

    Re: New MTG-910

I just got one, too. Sam's Club-- kinda like a Costco, but it's part of Wal-Mart companies. US$99.

Had to take it back for another one, due to the first one having some kind of flaking(?) or spots on the bezel where the black finish didn't adhere and left the shiney silver color instead of black. The new one looks good.

I had been contemplating getting this one for a little while. I like the black metal look. I am choosing this MTG-910 a bit on style, for the new styles coming out recently do not appeal to me. As for function, yeah, the lack of Countdown Timer is a bummer, but I'll try out using the multi-alarms in place of the countdown-- a bit more complicated setting an alarm based on current time rather than just setting it for a countdown time duration, but at least the current time is displayed on the alarm setting screen which helps a little. Now, I'll see if I can practice some uses for Time Memo-- hah!

This will be my first Wave Ceptor model, and I will miss the phone numbers and schedule alarm from my G-7000D silver stainless steel watch when I wear this MTG-910. But, I might like this MTG-910 black metal for sporting activities. I have the classic solar G-5600J that's good for sporting and rugged activities, so it will be interesting to compare how well the MTG-910 and G-5600J wear in various activities.

MTG-910 is a great looking watch in my opinion. I'm really curious how I will like this more sleek looking black metal on my wrist versus the silver metal G-7000D.

Sam's Club and Costco-- good deals on this watch!
    regards,
    James

It sync'd perfectly last night at 4AM local time and I wore it all day at work and had many complements on it
I really like the stealth aspect of it and it will probably be on my wrist all week
This is the best deal I made all this year, so far
