Video New MTG-G1000D -- home/world time fast swap feature...

Guys, tell me if you can see this video please! Never done this before from Flickr....

What it shows is swapping the home/world times on the new MTG, with a 3-second push of the upper right button. Originally the home time is EDT, USA, world time is set to LAX. After button press, those are reversed as you can (hopefully) see in the video!!

I'll post more photos and comments this weekend, just wanted to try this video right now!

Thanks for the reply! I meant to say home time was EDT, but I've corrected that in the orig. post..

The video works for me. I'm amazed by how fast the 6 o'clock sub dial was able to move its hands around, that's amazing. Can't wait to see more of this watch :)

Yeah, the hands on the 6:00 subdial are very fast. I think Casio calls the feature a 'dual-coil motor' or something like that.. What they don't tell you is, if your world time zone is a different date than your home time zone, it still takes a long while for the date to update. (not that it really matters much)

Wow! Thanks for sharing! This was something that I was dying for on the GPW... Hahaha
The subdial move very quickly. Nice!

Here's a better look at it, going from home time NYC to world time Tokyo, and back!

    That's really cool, Time4Playnow!

I am curious about the 24 hour stopwatch.

Could you show another video with its operation?

I'm wondering which dial does what, etc.

Also, I was wondering if there is a beep with the press of mode or start/stop buttons. I would prefer it not beep.

    Thanks!

The GA1100 can do the exact same thing, swapping the time between the sub dial and the main dial clocks. I think the GA1xx series can do world time swap too, but between analog and digital clocks.
