    "New" Muddie has arrived!

My DW-8400 Mudman has arrived. This Mudman is larger than the new Mudman and the buttons are easy to push, not hard like on my GW-9010. The backlight is by far the strongest compared with my other Gs. I actually like it better than my GW-9010 for the moment, mostly because it is larger, and the three eyes looks cool and give something extra to the STW and CDT. Here are some pictures:

Wow! Never realised there as such a difference in size!

I always felt that Casio undersold the 8400 Mudman. The same module as the 6900 but much better looking.

There are no more than a handful of 8400 models, but an infinite number of 6900s. Unfair or what!?!

Thanks for bigging up the 8400.

Very nice vintage 8400 and I have always loved the styling of that model because it combines classic Raysman and 6900 stying together.
However the new 9010 Mudie features the deadly accurate 6 Band Atomic technology with the latest smoke grey solar panels, and a strap that's so comfortable that it would put many other G-Shocks to shame.
I love your 8400 but also really love the 9010. It's one of those situations where it's not about which is better, because they are both great watches.
Simply you've just got to have them both, and enjoy them to the max.
Congratulations to you on finding such a lovely vintage 8400.

    AWESOME OLD-SKOOL MUDDIE.

Why can't Casio bring the oldies back?... But hey, the new ones are great dont get me wrong but the oldies were the best size-wise.

    Congrats and enjoy!!!

    best regards,
