    New Rangeman part Duex.

I originally purchased a standard GW-9400 about a year ago. But, I flipped it because I was new to the forum and was freaked out after reading the lug breakage threads going around back then.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, still seeing a few posts here and there about the lug issue. So, I decided to buy another rangeman and put it through the gauntlet of my outdoor activities to satisfy my own curiosity if the lug issue is really a thing.

It seems to me reading the breakage threads that a majority of the people having the issues just came to the forum for that and didn't really have a good explanation for how it happened and all the variables.

I'm going to use the rangeman for my outdoor activities for the next year, to see if it is as tough as my other Gs or if I do have a lug issue.

It will go through but not limited to the following activities, Mountain biking (trail and downhill) shooting competitions, bird hunting, camping, bouldering, ice climbing, off roading, working on cars, mowing, yard work, ski biking, and dog walking.

If I do have an issue I will be as thorough as possible in documenting the cause of the failure.

If anything operator error. Don't let the solar eclipse shine directly on it, I've heard that is a contributing factor in lug breakage.

You forgot storm chasing and extreme photography.

Looks good and have fun in Idaho.

There is no lug issue with Rangeman. Mine have been thru hell at work and they survived just fine.

    The best G-Shock ever?

You need to hook us up with a watch photo that includes your full sleeve.

A man wearing a watch, outside of purely social functions (where, strictly speaking, a watch is not supposed to be worn), makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers his time something of value, not something to be wasted.

A man wearing an ostentatiously expensive watch makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers little.

this is subjective, but if you are referring to someones perceived design flaw, which they are insistent to point of agenda about, they will will have to prove guilty the design flaw. a few accidents do not prove it. there must be wide spread occurrences and true documentation of said flaw. not a few anecdotal accounts. that Russian video describes an accident, yet all we see is a broken watch, for all we know he took a hammer to it. if it was a true design flaw there would be hundreds of folks here and on every other watch forum around. people screaming their heads off. im pretty good with google, you know what i found,,,,not much. previously i think we got up to 7 accounts and 2-3 were hinkie.

G-shocks are tough, not indestructible. stuff happens.
