So I wanted to buy a watch case that could hold all my current watches and have space for a few future ones. Just a few... yeah right.
And I wound up buying a watch winder and a case from Acetimer thru eBay and here are the pics. Granted, a watch winder has nothing to do with Casios but I'll add a few pictures in for good measure.
Now, I needed a case that could accommodate my PAW1500's 50.5mm face as well as my Seiko Orange Monster's width.
The finish is AMAZING. Much better than I thought it'd be for such an inexpensive case.
Notice the clearance between the bottom part of the case and it's lid. It seems large enough to fit even a fat Breitling!
Will it handle my PAW?
The "pillowettes" are made out of good faux leather and seem "pillowy" enough to give in case the watch needed to be tightened to fit inside.
Seiko Monster test? Pass.
Let's fill this puppy up with the rest of my G's.
If they fit, all my others will too. The one thing that concerns me is the fact that most G's have a fairly "hard" curve coming from the watch in order to hug your wrist snugly.
I placed my G-Shocks in there without much attention. Didn't really worry about the way they looked, but just wanted to get them in there. The "hard curve" in the watches definitely made it harder to wrap them around, but not bad enough for me to worry.
Closed shot! Success!! Not only do my G's look... refined... but the rest don't look so shabby either!!
Now, a quick look at the winder.
Same great finish. Fits 5 with 2 on the winding mechanism. The units are actually Acetimer branded, but it still looks GREAT.
Oh and the unit also can run off batteries and came with an Euro adapter as well as a US adapter.
