After all the problems I have had with my Suunto Core, I wish I didn't turf my Protrek/Pathfinders

    Nice addition

Tell me about problems with Suunto. I had a Khaki vector may it rest in peace. I opened the battery cover not knowing that once you open it... it's pretty much death to the watch. So I closed the battery cover and a month later went into the pool with it. That was the end of my Khaki Suunto Vector. Water damage destroyed the watch completely making the display blank and foggy. I currently own a black Suunto, however... I don't use it as much as my pathfinder.

    G9000-

I saw that very same Pathfider in Khols, and almost made an impulse purchase! It's a nice watch for sure. They had it at a relatively good price, too, with all their 'special discounts' it would've been @ $180. Then I went home, and looked up the whole PAW line. Now im torn between the 1100, and the PAW1500. Can't decide!

    Wear it well!

kohls has the pathfinder at 200 list and 25% or 50 off

    so 150 final price

but, it was in the case, so I couldnt tell if it was the PAW-1100 or the PRG-80

yes, very nice watch yah got there, congrats!

G9000, could you make a short review on the "pros" & "cons" of this watch as I'm also eyeing the same watch ( sold as protrek prw-1000J-1J) which is currently quite affordable with 30% discount over its retail price (42000yen):thanks

Bad news people. After 1 day of wearing the watch... The size was overwhelming. I cooked dinner wearing the watch and over an open stove it was unbearable and had to take it off. Wrist got all sweaty and the watch slid all over the place. And btw dtmartin46 I actually bought the watch at Khols for about $225. Then the following day I actually returned it for a full blown refund. The size of the watch was huge and my wrists are kind of narrow. After the refund, I sourced out a PAW-1300 I'll post pics of that one a bit later. baba838 However a nice looking watch, the pro's are Atomic time keeping, nice graph on the Altimiter, awesome barometer graph, and sweet compass. Also the pro's are solar power and atomic time keeping and the world time function. However one nit picky con of mine is the 60 minute count down timer. I am really fond of the 24 hour count down timer over the lousy 60 minute one found in newer Pathfinders and G-shocks.
