    Newb Needing help!

Hey all. New to this forum, but not to G-shocks. I am looking to make my next g shock purchase now but cannot quite decide. I am looking for a unique mostly all black one. I do not have a King yet, and do like the GX56-GB. Have found some decent prices for it on the bay and am really considering pulling the trigger. However, I do have a smaller wrist (7") so that is a consideration. I am not opposed to large wrist watches though.

The other watch I am really considering is the 5600BB. This one too is a really nice all black one. I currently have two 5600's and really do like the way they fit on my wrist. This one is certainly a slick watch, however it doesn't really do much function wise and only has a 2 year battery in it. I really like the stealth look of it though.

So help me out here guys!

    Consider this model G Shock.
The Rescue G-7900 from G-Shock was designed and engineered for rough and rugged activities. With tide and moon graph functionality and 200M water resistance, you won't want to go without one on your next excursion. The watch also features a back light, temperature resistant LCD, and tough solar atomic power. Other features include countdown timer, multiple alarm settings, and a atomic time keeping.

Because it's a G-Shock, it is shock resistant and built to last a lifetime.

    Best regards,

Haha. Funny you should mention this one as this is another one I am somewhat considering. (was just reading about it) Just don't seem to see/hear to much about this model. May want something a little more unique/rare too. That is why I am thinking of the above two.

Edit: although that one is tempting.

If you have two 5600's already, i vote for the king! Just wore my GB the other day:

Hi and welcome to the forum fishmd!
I also have a 7'' wrist - here's some pics to help in your decision - it looks huge on wristshots or when you hold it right under your nose, but from a few feet away it looks like any other oversized G-Shock:

Some comparison pics with a GW-6900:

Hope that helps. I say - go for the King - it's a mighty impressive piece, yet still lightweight and comfy to wear.

    cheers, Sedi

Thanks for the recommendations all. Now however after further research I discovered the newer all black Master of G Riseman. I am really liking the functionality of that one and like the looks of it too. Bit smaller than the King too, but bigger than the 5600.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1346019656.284885.jpg

I vote big and bold King too... time to get some presence! :)

A 7" wrist should be able to handle the King IMO. I think I would always feel something is missing if I didn't have a King in the arsenal :) The GB King is my personal favourite King and the stealthiest King to date. If you have a couple of 5600s already, it's time for some variation if you ask me!

    I have a 7.25" wrist and I prefer a slightly loose fit:

The BW Riseman is nice, but I think there are better looking Risemans to top it IMO, namely the MIMB and Smokey Gray :) If you like the BW series, my personal favs are the GD-100 and 6900BWs
