    newbie needing advice

    hello everyone,
first post for me,just joined up after a few weeks spent on the forum, i'm about to purchase my first g-shock a gw-m5600 1ver,after my other g shock( given to me many years ago as a freebie from a casio rep dw 8800 gave up on me due to the case threads going!) can anyone tell me if the gw-m5600 1ver is a good one to go for? i work for a watch repair company so i get casios uk spec casios at cost price, lucky me! also does anybody know if the face protectors from the older models fit the new model? as i've already phoned casio uk and they don't have a face protecotr listed for the gw-m5600 1ver they said i'd have to send it to them. sorry for the long post.any help is much appreciated, cheers guys gareth

Hi liveforever and welcome I'm fairly new myself here.
The GW-M5600 was my first G-Shock, it's the one to get and for the price you're paying that's around 30% off UK prices. Get two of 'em, no question.
