Smile Newby with a DW5200C needs manual

Hello: I am an owner of a original DW5200C. I know it is original, because I am the only owner of this watch. However, I have misplaced the manual for this watch and I am looking for a replacement. I have been to several on-line sites that say they have manuals, but apparently not for the DW-5200C. I need to know what battery it takes, and how to remove the back. My local watchmakers will not attempt to remove the back, because they say they could break off the side buttons. Does anyone have advice, comments, or information?

    Thanks in advance,

It is a DW5200C, made back around 83. No one seems to have it listed, even Casio's site.

    Thanks.

you have a great watch there

you can have your watch maker unscrew the caseback, i don't think you can break off the buttons by unscrewing the caseback.

if not, you can do it yourself. just get a caseback opener and open up the case yourself.

sorry that i can't help you with the battery problem. i hope help will arrive soon

I have a manual for this watch but can't find it. To be honest, I'm pretty lazy and didn't look too hard.

Below is a link to a manual that should work. Just ignore the 'REM' feature because your watch doesn't have it. Also the 24HR is different. To toggle in and out of 24HR mode on your watch, just push the bottom right (when facing the watch) button when in time mode.
