Newest addition to my DW-66xx family + resin query

So I did a Best Offer on this DW-6630 and got it for £40.

It's a model and colour I didn't have, and has become the 3rd in my line up of DW-66's.

I already have a hen's tooth rare 6610, a 6695 and now this, so I'm SLOWLY adding to them!

The bullbars are needing replacement, but my main question is if the resins can be bought still? My first port of call will be Casio UK, (I already looked on Tiktox and nothing), but other than that I guess eBay will provide some at some point in the future if I'm lucky!!

Yellow DW66xx bezel available? Good luck .. you will be needing it :D

I would just leave it as is :)

    Very nice pick up btw.

The 69XX series should fit just fine. Not sure what colors you'll find, but at least they fit. The DW 66XX series is still one of the best ever made IMHO

Definitely good luck on finding new yellow resin. I've been kinda looking for a replacement for my 6630 as well but no luck so far. I ended up going with new resin from a DW6900 for both the bezel and strap.

Part of the reason why I like the DW6600 so much is the look, and that replacement bezel and strap is still readily available.

The bull bars are just fine. Go over them with a fine bit of steel wool, and they'll shine. Then just coat with a good metal polish which you'll probably have lying around in your garage. (Peel, Solvol or Meguiar's are my favourites)

Actually, Tiktox had some in black for just £12, so already ordered! I might also steel wool the originals and keep them as a silver set

    Yeah, I know .

The bezel isn't too bad, it's the straps that are the worst. I could try yellow dyeing them, but even if that works, they'd then be a different colour to the bezel and I wouldn't want to dye that because the lettering wouldn't be black!

Maybe I'll completely change the colour and buy a new strap & bezel set, we'll see
