    Picture Newly acquired DW5600 - red lettering

    Just picked this up, came today all the way from California, USA. Non original strap, very slight ding to the right side of the display, but apart from that it's perfect, all functions working as they should.

    Unusual use of red in the lettering and round the display, any info on this model, marked DW5600E on the rear, would be appreciated.

    Will post better pics when I get the correct strap!

    I bought one in '91 or '92 from a K Mart which is a discount department store. As I recall paid about $35. for it.

    The watch head was mounted on Casio strap adapters and a black Casio 2 piece velcro and buckle strap with Casio's logo on one side.

    Very nice watch. The subdued red lettering is becoming rare and gives it a special ops flavor.
    Best regards,

    Hello Crimbocop;

    That is a very atttractive version of the 5600. I wish Casio would put more out.

    I found these from Sjors's site G-peopland.com

    Here it's called the dw-5600EB. It features something which looks like a g-lide band setup.
    Hope this helped.
