    Nice Bargains

I picked up a couple of new G-Shocks from Walmart today. They had the G-7301V-1V with nylon strap, marked down to $25.00. Heck, it's worth it for the spare solar battery, great nylon strap and strap adapters.

I also grabbed the DW56RT for $20.00. I originally bought it for the strap and bezel, to use as spares for the GW-5600. But this referee timer is starting to grow on me. The display in timekeeping mode is simply outstanding. Wonderfully legible. I'm going to have to play around with the module a bit and see how it works out for me.

That's a great price, I won a DW56RT on ebay the other day for just under £17 and thought that was cheap. Does yours have a normal display then, all the ones I've come across have negative displays?

Any chance of a pic of your ref. timer?

I'll take some pics tomorrow. This was a positive display model, DW56RT-1V

Wow, it does look clear on that picture. I wish I'd looked beyond my usual sources. As much as I like the look of negative displays, I didn't buy this one just for looks.
