    Nicknames for Your G-Shocks?

Hello, do you guys give your G-Shocks nicknames? Here is my humble collection and my nicknames for my Gs. (I am not a good photographer at all )

    G-5600A "G.I Joe"

I like the green-gray color on this watch. Not as boring as black, but not attention grabbing either. The shade of green and the yellow letters remind me of classic GI Joe action figures.

    GLX-6900X "Battleship"

The gray is like the outside of a battleship.

While the red is like the inside of the control room during red alert.

    G-6900GR "Tree Frog"

Wearing this watch always makes me happier and more relaxed. I like how there are four shades of green on this watch.

    G-9200BL
    "Papa Smurf"

The red, white, black, and blue all remind me of the Smurfs!

That is all my Gs! Does your Gs have nicknames too?

I don't name my watches for the same reason that I don't name the chickens in the yard. (because they're expendable, not because I eat watches)

^ I forgot to mention that the nicknames you've came up with are pretty good. Keep it going

I really like the Battleship nickname for the 6900X. It makes me want to get one and I personally like the 5600s better than the 6900s.

The battleship nickname tough is actually not just invented by longdistance, it was actually in4Mation who gave it the battleship grey nickname so its an official name!

usually I don't nickname my G's, but still I have two which I did:

G-8000-3V (Borg) because when I bought it, I was a big fan of Star Trek Voyager and though that would be the perfect watch for "seven of nine".
G-7900-3V (Mulfman) because the watch has all the functions of a G-9000 mudman and a G-9100 gulfman.

I believe in4mation named the gray color of the GLX 6900X as battleship gray, but battleship wasn't the name in4mation gave to the watch. "In4mation has taken a new approach with its design and focused its watches for more of a everyday use with subtle battleship grey’s with contrast hints throughout both watches" IN4MATION G-SHOCK GLX-6900 & BABY G SET FOR JUNE

Yea, the GLX 6900X is my favorite G that I have.

I'm not real "inventive" when I name them, I just call all of my Gulfman, "Gulfie" and my Frogman "Froggy", don't really have any names for the rest of them

I saw this 4 days ago.

I actually like to limit the use of nicknames to special models. With giving nicknames to every model, no model will be special anymore.

    Cheers,

There are only 10 kind of people. Those who understand binary and those who don't.
