    oceanus

I would like to know why casio discontinued production of oceanus models. In 2008 catalogue is just one model. As I remember there were more model few years ago, and they were available in stores for short period of time. If I'm not wrong oceanus were high (maybe top?) quality casio models.
Also there is no more duros. There were about 30 duro models few years ago...What do you think about thaht?

I don't know what duros are. As for Oceanus the fact there is one model might indicate they didn't stop production but just focusing on others this year. MRG would appear to be their top line at this point wouldn't it? Maybe it'll be part of another 25th anniversary release. All my thoughts would be conjecture, I surely have no inside information.

casio duro are 200m water resistant steel case screw back and crown watches. Mostly analog, but there is few analog-digital models. Some have swordfish on the face and engraved on the back.

They were not expensive but wery durable.

They added the Cachelot and deleated a few leather band models of the M800 and M700 models, if you ask me.

However, this is Japan only of course.

I really like the look of those new Cachalot models....almost like an MTG1000.

    I wonder if they're DLC'd.

good question, I have heard about a special treatment ("surface grinding processing are administered") but no DLC, DLC would be better, I guess.

Ha ha...nope. Just an email to Higuchi or Seiya can get you one of those .
