    Oh, Ma-harishi

please forgive a bit of narcissism, but this has been an Excalibur Grail G for me. not just the watch but i wanted the whole package. but as you all know, im not paying $250-$350 for a watch, and the joy and satisfaction of hunting is exhilarating! As discussed earlier in another thread, there was almost a WUS on WUS bidding war, but fortunately they didnt bid and i scored. so here i am, bouncing on the Moon with a Bonsai in hand.

Nice!! I like the print on that one, is it the moon's surface?

How much did you steal for this time?

its called "Lunar Bonsai" and the moon surface is even on the face plate. i had to pay a pretty penny for this, $125 shipped, but for what they are going for, its darn good.

    its model number is GD-X6900MH

Congrats on your watch. Though personally, I've never understood the 'collab' watches that Casio indulge in. I know they are targeted at a youngsters market, though I did get excited a couple of years back when I heard of a 'supra' collab watch. At last, a Toyota Supra sports car, finally, a collab I could get behind! Only to discover that 'supra' simply make plastic shoes for you youngsters! LOL

    Re: Oh, Ma-harishi

Congrats!! Very nice. I used to own this model, and yes, the price you paid was WELL worth it. These are getting scarce now and the prices will continue to rise.

Mine went to forum friend Stavros in Greece. Nice to know that, even if I can't get to Greece, at least one of my watches did!!

Yes the pattern on the dial is very cool, and on this one even the tin was very nicely done!!
