    old mrgs

Just picked these pair of MR-G's down the local market.
They were very dusty, obviously been there long time, but new and unmarked.
The seller is getting them fitted with new batteries and is letting me have them both for just over 100£.
Not sure if it's a good deal or not, but I like them both regardless.
Does anyone have any links or info to share on them?

If those clean up well, then I would think that price is an excellent price (I would almost call it a 'steal'). Just one would go for nearly what you're paying for both. Especially if they come with all the correct boxes/tags/manuals.

You've gotta post pics once they're cleaned up! They look like titanium versions of the MRG100 and MRG120!

I would have been very tempted to buy them at that price, even though they're not on my want-list. In fact, I would have cursed my luck in coming across them, if you see what I mean.

They are indeed both titanium, and I guess I should have paid more attention to the model numbers on the back, sorry
They are both on their way to the workshop tonight for new batteries.
He doesn't have original boxes, so I'm getting them in the round tins, but both the watches are new and have the tags on the strap. They are both totally unmarked, just greasy and dusty.
There were about 6 old MR-G's like these lying there unloved, I just picked out the 2 I liked best.
When I pick my 2 up tomorrow, I'll get a photo of the whole collection still lying there. They are all old and none of the newer 7 series that I'd recognise, or the 130 that I really want unfortunately.

All the ones I left lying there looked titanium yes.
They all looked like variants on these 2 models I bought.
As I said, seller is pleased to be moving these old watches, and I'm sure I can also get any of the others at knock down prices.
I'll post pic of the remaining watches tomorrow.
