    Oled ?

Any G ever made with an OLED or OLED variant display?

    I'd def buy one.

    I'd like a G-8000 OLED, super futuristic but classic G :)

If you can build a TV with it, you can make a watch too, so a G can't be too far away, its gunna be sick!

There is just a mains cable needed for your watch.

OLEDs are using to much power for a watch with a at least one year battery lifetime.
You would need a kind of recharging mechanism like on MP3-plaers or cellphones to keep the display running....

Organic Light Emitting Diode, Its a new display technology becoming more and more popular. I didn't know it uses so much power.

    I think it'd be great looking on a G.

Maybe Casio could experiment with the idea but i think it goes against their product aims, especially now that they use watches with the solar powered element that doesn't need charging or changing a battery.

However i do like the idea of an oled watch, i wouldn't have a problem charging it regularly, we all have mobile phones. you could pack some nice features in an oled watch.

I think on a rechargeable tough solar G, there is enough power for an OLED display equal in size to the current G's (say a GW5600J).

    OLED would be nice.
But I think E-Ink would have the advantage in respect to power consumption.
